Hey everyone!
We’re officially down to the final 5 days of the Kaido Genkai Kickstarter campaign! I’d call it quite a success thus far – we hit our funding goal, sold out all of the custom car tiers, and backers got their hands on a bunch of custom characters and billboards. This campaign and demo release built up so much momentum around Kaido Genkai in such a short time.

Only $2K to the Farm
We’re heading into the final few days, and we’re just over $2,000 away from unlocking the Farm stretch goal which would add a tiered rice paddy / farm area. I think it would be an amazing environment for some cool jumps and beautiful scenery.
This environment would be inspired by Smugglers Run 2 on the PS2 / Gamecube / Xbox. As a young teen, I remember being really struck by the Vietnam level for including rice fields and how you could do jumps off of the banks between them, and it’s stuck with me ever since. I’d like to recreate that feeling for all of you.
Kaido Genkai Final Weekend Stream
We also have a livestream coming up this Friday, July 10 at 7pm Pacific on YouTube to celebrate the final weekend of the campaign! I’ll be joined by vehicle artist Hacao, Illustrator holeecrab and possibly a few other friends where we’ll answer questions, talk about the game, and generally hang out and be silly while making one more push toward the stretch goal.

Don’t Miss the Final Stretch
If you’ve been waiting to back the project, now is the time. You can still grab a copy of the game, get your name in the credits, add a custom billboard, or become an NPC in the world of Kaido Genkai! Just think, your OC could be seen among all these beautiful faces…
And even if you can’t back the project, sharing the campaign still helps a ton. Posting about it, sending it to a friend, wishlisting the game on Steam, or stopping by the stream all genuinely make a difference.
