Kaido Genkai’s Kickstarter has officially come to an end at 151% funded! What a wild ride.

I was just chatting in Discord about how it’s felt like the campaign lasted for ages. I was quite nervous at the start, but things really took off at a couple points. I am humbly grateful. This funding chart feels like a rollercoaster of slow and and fast!

Thank You So Much, Once Again
Whether you backed the project, shared it with friends, joined the livestream, played the demo, posted fan art, or just cheered us on, you helped make this possible. I’m going to be working on Kaido Genkai full time as well, starting in August. Not just evenings and weekends anymore, the game may now completely consume me and the end product should represent that. c:
And thanks to all of you, we also unlocked two stretch goals! The farm area with tiered rice paddies is coming to the game, along with a brand-new beach and seaside area to explore.

Next Steps
To everyone who pledged for custom content such as a character, NPC name, billboard, or vehicle: I’ll be reaching out with information about the next steps soon. And even if you just pledged for a name credit – keep an eye on your emails for a questionnaire from Kickstarter!
It will take a while to get through everybody, but I’ll try to at least connect over the coming week or two, so you know you’re on my radar. It will ask for more details concerning your pledge, including what name you’d like to use for the in-game credits.
I’ll also start working on the promised backer-exclusive wallpapers as well. c:
More Community Art
One of my favorite aspects of the community is how many talented folks are contributing their work! Check out some more awesome content shared from Discord.
